   Set up the representative office for the Iberian Peninsula and provided financial guarantees for toll road concessions and municipal infrastructure across Europe and the Americas.

• Chicago Skyway — Infrastructure Deal of the Year, Project Finance Magazine (2006). AAA/Aaa bond issuance of US$1.8 billion, the largest toll road bond issuance at the time.
• Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Sevilla — European Municipal Finance Deal of the Year, Project Finance Magazine (2002). Synthetic securitisation with the European Investment Bank for €96 million.
• Rutas del Pacífico (Chile) — Latin American Deal of the Year, Project Finance International and Project Finance Magazine (2002). AAA/Aaa bond issuance with the Inter-American Development Bank.

Academic activity

Professor at the Investment Banking Institute, in charge of the Geneva and Madrid centres, also teaching in London and Paris. Has lectured at IE Business School’s Colegio de Dirección, the Escuela de Organización Industrial and the infrastructure management master’s programme at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
